Occasionally, we like to use the “pick of the litter” method in lieu of cash payment for stud services, so that we can evaluate the offspring personally. When available, we will post litter announcements here for breedings involving STERNJAGER stud dogs. Usually one or two pups will be available for consideration for each litter. Normally, I will pick the pup, however if arranged in advanced a buyer may pick the pup. Check back often for updates. |

Trooper and Remy pups available. Dr. Matt Nichols, DVM owner of the dam says.. Dam: "Remy" is my personal hunting dog. Her pedigree is very strong in Rothenuffeln and Hainholz bloodlines. She has great desire in the field and is a calm dog around the house and yard. If I had to name the one attribute I most appreciate about her, it would be her extreme biddability. She has a high internal motivation to please and when coupled with her high intelligence, this has made her a joy to hunt behind. We hunt wild pheasant and quail exclusively in Kansas and South Dakota. If my job as a Veterinarian would allow it time-wise, I have every confidence that she would have excelled in NAVHDA testing, and I believe these pups will test extremely well and more importantly, will be joys to have both in the field and at home.
